Vicki Palmore

Vicki has been in the field of animal care and training for over 30 years. She has been the manager of Golden Post Kennel since 1996. Vicki was actively involved with the Humane Society of Johnson County since 2004 as a Board Member, Foster Home, and Instructor of Canine Education Classes. Now, in addition to her management job, she assists with other rescues as well as helping teach pet owners how to have a well mannered family member.

Kelli Stropes

Kelli has had a life long interest in animals, particularly their behavior. She began her career in animal care in 1983 at the Franklin Animal Clinic while attending Franklin College. Kelli has worked with Johnson County Animal Control as an animal caretaker and Director. She then served animals in our community with the Humane Society of Johnson County through creating and serving as the coordinator of the foster program and by being a Board Member, as well as a Canine Education Instructor since 2004. Kelli has now moved to helping homeless and owned animals by fostering and offering training.
