Day Care

In this busy world, we are short changing our dogs.  In the past, most dogs were able to run around the working farm during the day or participate in some other sort of work for which they were bred.  This made them tired and calm in the evening when their owners were ready to settle down.  Today, we expect our dogs to be calm and tired after staying in a crate or a fenced yard with little or no mental stimulation and maybe a 20-30 minute walk. Boredom and excess energy are often primary causes of behavior issues.

Here at Bright Hope Dog Training, we believe that all dogs need to have a chance to stretch all aspects of their body, physically and mentally. In daycare we offer a safe and supervised place for dogs to play, run, jump and roll in the grass with other dogs.  Here is how it works:  You drop off your dog in the morning, and she/he gets to play, socialize, snack and nap while you’re off working. Then you pick him/her up at the end of the workday. With us not, only are they getting physical exercise, but they get to socialize with people and other dogs, smell, see and hear a variety of stimuli.  By the end of the day, they are ready to relax with you.

Come visit us during our office hours and we would be happy to show you around.
